Which of the following is less risky? A) Buy an ERP solution from a BigCo ERP vendor, or; B) Buy a similar ERP solution from Lawson?
You can probably guess that we think there’s less risk associated with a Lawson solution. Why are we less risky? Let us count the ways:
- Simplicity – there’s a lot of overhead associated with a BigCo solution. A BigCo project can be a vicious circle – technical complexity increases project complexity which increases budget complexity. If you’re a Fortune 500 company, maybe you can deal with all of it. If you’re not that big, however, simplicity reduces risk. Simply put, our approach is simpler.
- Responsibility – If you buy from a BigCo vendor, you may be forced to work through a partner. You have to ask yourself, who is really looking out for my best interests? - User interface – take a look at our interface, then take a look at theirs. Which one will do more to help your users master the system?
- Scale – let’s face it, the BigCo vendors can afford to blow one every now and then. We can’t. We take every implementation seriously and proceed methodically, thoughtfully, and cautiously.
